March 14th at 1:00pm. HOME & HEART, a lunch and auction gala for Haiti earthquake victims. Basil & Chives is working with Seattle King County Disaster Team, a non-profit organization , to raise funds for Haiti earthquake victims. There will be a gourmet buffet featuring B & C signature dishes, live entertainment, and live auction. Ticket price: regular - $45, VIP - $100, Sponsorship - $500 or more. 100% of all ticket sales & auction sales will go to the people of Haiti via SKCDT, to provide food and medical necessities. March 26 & 27th and April 2 & 3 at 7:30pm. We will be presenting an evening of fun and unusual one-acts. The selection will feature "Wash and Dry", a short comedy by Shel Silverstein, about poor customer service at a laundry, "Cell Phone Romance", an original comedy by local playwright, Mavis Lamb, and - in celebration of Elvis Presley's 75th birthday year - "Graceland" by Ellen Byron, a comedy about two fans who each want to be the first to enter Graceland.
